What is meant by "Access-card.21®"
Access-card.21® is the combination of a CD Card with a client-server
software, that assures an unique, encrypted authentification to a
server-service. Internet-, extranet- or intranet-services that should
be accessible only by specific users can easily be promoted with an
Access-card.21®, by giving extensive multimedial explanations and
guidance, thereby leading the user to the offered service.
What are the areas of application/utilizations?
Because of its dual function, the Access-card.21® can ideally be used
to promote and offer explanation intesive online services.
Some examples:
Customer-/associate-networks, access to databases for fieldwork employees,
suppliers, partner companies, tracking systems, procurement services,
B2B online services, online clubs, communities, internet services,
content access, database queries, portals, services with costs,
content services, e-commerce, prepaid internet-access/services,

What are the required components?
Besides the Access-card.21®, a database and a script (program) running
on the server that offers the online contents, is needed, which does the
communication between the Access-card.21® and the server. The easiest
solution is for example a CGI-Script and an Access database that contains
the login data. Additionally an application for maintenance of the
database could be programmed, to allow the service company an easier
administration of the data.
How much does it cost?
An Access-card.21® is not an everyday product that can be used without
customization. Therefore it is required to grasp complete scenarios before
realizing a project, to ensure highest possible levels of security and
efficiency. The costs for an Access-card.21® are the sum of the individual
programming- and development costs for a project and the standard prices
of a CDCard.
